The ocean has gifted us with the joy of surfing,

the healing power of the salt water, and the beauty

of the landscape and sea creatures. It's inspired

us to be creative, live authentically, and care

about its health and well-being.

For our part, trips to the beach routinely include

trash pickups and using as much "trash" to create

unique artistic treasures.

10% of Crazy Nocean sales are donated to beach and ocean preservation/rehabilitation non-profit organizations.

ENVIRONMENTAL ART

Trash to Treasure...we believe everything is useful and worthy of appreciation.

So. Cal artist and surfer Mike Batt creatively uses materials that are RECLAIMED (Arundo Donax: an invasive reed harvested from the Ventura River), RECYCLED (paper bags, water bottles) and assembled with LOVING, OLD-FASHIONED CRAFTSMANSHIP (hand-tools, and old-fashioned processes).

All artwork is custom-crafted by Mike...when he's not surfing or picking up trash on the beach.
